Resigning, Redirecting, Retooling

Dr. Randy White

I have recently resigned from my position as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Katy, effective August 31, 2015.After 12 years of wonderful ministry, Shelley and I have decided to move into a new direction of ministry. We will miss the day-to-day interaction with our loved ones at FBC, which is the aspect of this transition that is most painful. This fall, I will begin a ministry of writing and publishing Christian resources from a dispensational perspective. I will continue the online work of Randy White Ministries, where I will teach the Bible to the many people who “stop by” on a daily basis. In addition, I will be starting a publishing company whose sole purpose is providing dispensational resources to individual Christians and to churches.Dispensational theology has hit an all-time low in the modern church. It is almost impossible to find preachers who teach the Word from a strong, classical dispensational approach. Finding resources for those pastors and their churches to use is even more challenging. I hope to be able to meet this need.I need your prayers and financial support now, more than ever. I will be devoting my time to this online ministry, and will, for the first time, begin to draw a small salary from Randy White Ministries, a non-profit 501©3 organization. Without the responsibilities of the pastorate of FBC, Katy, I hope to give my energies more fully into answering your questions, providing even more resources, and mentoring a new generation of Bible teachers.Thank you for your prayers in this new venture. It is likely that we will move the “home-base” for this ministry from Katy to Taos, New Mexico, just miles from where I grew up, and less than a three-hour drive from Shelley’s parents. I look forward to ministering alongside old and new friends in New Mexico. What you can expect in the futureI plan to continue all the aspects of Randy White Ministries, including the Thursday online Bible studies, articles, our retreat, and our regular trips to Israel. I look forward to being available for your questions, emails, and website issues. Further down the road, I will be writing my own Bible study resources, as well as publishing the new or out-of-print works of others. Each of these works will come from a strict doctrinal standard of dispensational theology.I invite you to come along on this exciting journey of faith as Shelley and I jump into the unknown of the future. While it is frightening to leave a large church with a comfortable income, we believe that God will provide. Thank you for your friendship, your encouragement, and your prayers.
