Ask the Theologian | Who enters New Jerusalem? | Who are the “Chosen?”

AskTheTheologianLogo-FinalIn this episode of Ask the Theologian, Dr. White answers two questions.

  • Revelation 21:27 talks about the unclean who cannot enter into the New Jerusalem. Does this mean that there will be unclean people when the New Jerusalem is presented? Some even use this verse to teach that there is no hell, but that the “unclean” simply cannot enter the New Jerusalem.
  • Matthew 22:14 says that “many are called, but few are chosen.” Who are the chosen? Does this mean that many receive an invitation but only a few accept the invitation?
