Can you see God? (Exodus 24:9-11) | Was John Elijah? (John 1:21)

AskTheTheologianLogo-FinalAsk the Theologian with Dr. Randy White for February 8, 2014.

  • Since Exodus 24:9-11 talks about seeing God, how can it say they saw God since no one has ever seen Him? Can you see God?
  • John the Baptist was asked if he was Elijah and he denied it (John 1:21), yet in Matthew 17:11-13, Jesus says that Elijah has already come and that he was John the Baptist. How do these go together?

These two issues can be made perfectly clear with a clear harmony of Scripture.[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=“yes” overflow=“visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=“1_1” background_position=“left top” background_color=“” border_size=“” border_color=“” border_style=“solid” spacing=“yes” background_image=“” background_repeat=“no-repeat” padding=“” margin_top=“0px” margin_bottom=“0px” class=“” id=“” animation_type=“” animation_speed=“0.3” animation_direction=“left” hide_on_mobile=“no” center_content=“no” min_height=“none”][s3bubbleAudioSingle bucket=“AskTheTheologian” track=“Radio+Version%2F020814+Can+you+see+God%2C+Was+John+Elijah.mp3” autoplay=“true”]If you have a question for our program, call 1-855-437-9448 (press option 2) to leave a recorded question we will use in a later broadcast![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
